After the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s) and his companions, Imam Zainul Abidin (a.s) and all women and children were arrested and taken to Damascus on camelback via Kufa.
Bibi Zainab (s.a), a brave and bold woman, addressed Muslims everywhere along the way, exposing Yazid and his evil actions and un-Islamic acts.
It was to this woman that Imam Hussain (a.s), the saviour of Islam left the rest of his mission, under the guidance of his successor Imam Zainul Abideen (a.s).
If it were not for Bibi Zainab (s.a) the events in Karbala would never have reached us.

Bibi Zainab (s.a) prayed Salatul Layl (the night prayers) in the state of sitting down on the night of Ashura after the tragic loss of her entire family… the least we can do is pray Salatul Layl in our peaceful nights!
